Coming down the pipe – the Panama Property Exchange

The Panama Property Exchange is soon to be launched by former US commercial real estate professional Tom Brymer. He is also the founder of the Panama Advisory International Group, his marketing platform, “still in its infancy,” he says, that “has attracted attention from investors from around the world who want to learn more about Panama and potentially invest here.”

The property exchange will be its own blog format website, aimed at people looking to get out of their investment here and slip into another one anywhere in there world through a sort of match-maker brokerage where trade is at the center of the game instead of cash.

“It’s kind of like taking somebody on a blind date,” explains Tom, “but the idea of trading a Casco Viejo property for a Paris apartment or 100 hectares in Pedasi for a construciton lot on Miami Beach has already proved to be very interesting to several people who got my first email blast about it.”

Former US commercial real estate professional Tom Brymer has an idea in the works, a property exchange matchmaker service that will connect sellers with sellers who are interested in exchanging their properties straight across the board.

Tom says that from late 2009 to present, he has seen an upswing in activity and many requests from owners in the US that have actually started with the words: “I have a property in the US that I would be willing to trade for a property in Panama”. Not all inquiries, properties or their owners are ones that Tom would pass through his pre-qualifying screening filter, but he says that there are many that he considers “good quality properties that might be of interest to like-minded owners here, say a boutique hotel in Paris for one here in Panama, a condo in Panama City for one on South Beach in Miami, or an island property here for a hunting ranch in Texas.” The options are endless.

The Panama Property Exchange forum blog platform is still under development, but Tom says it won’t be an ultra-fancy flash site, rather one that will clearly present the property for exchange, the estimated market value, the equity interest and the wish list for the exchange property.

Properties will be pre-qualified before the matchmaking will begin. Tom’s blog, www.PanamaAdvisoryGroup.com is slotted to handle the platform and forum shortly with a separate blog site coming soon to be dedicated to the property trade deals.
