Activities on Taboga

Life on Taboga is very laid back so the most strenuous activity here is probably a two hour hike to the to the top of the mountain taking in the local scenery and the magnificent view.

The village itself is interesting to explore. The tiny church claims to be the second oldest in the hemisphere. Paul Gauguin lived on the island for a while and the ruins of his house are signposted. The site of the former Pacific Steamship Company is not far from the village.

A walk to Isla Morro is possible at low tide.

Swimming and fishing are other occupations.
